Who We Are

SUSTAINABLE AGRI COUNCIL is registered as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013, established to work for charitable and public welfare purposes.
We do not engage in trading, buying, or selling for profit.
We do not distribute income or surplus to members.
All funds are applied solely towards our objects.
SUSTAINABLE AGRI COUNCIL did not begin in a boardroom. It began -
In fields where soil no longer held water.
In villages where women did most of the work but none of the deciding.
In schools where children learned letters, but not what clean water meant.

We did not come to fix people. We came to listen, stand alongside, and work with what already exists —
knowledge, land, effort, and resilience.

Everything we do happens now—
in the present moment where daily choices are made- children grow and learn, young people shape their futures, communities care for health and dignity, water is drawn, resources are shared, and the environment is either protected.
We Did Not Start with a Vision.
We Started with What We Saw.
We imagine a way of living where the land is not exhausted to survive. Where soil is treated as something alive. Where women’s work is visible and valued. Where children grow up healthy because their surroundings are healthy. Where villages are clean—not by force, but by shared responsibility. Our vision is rooted in what rural communities have always known -that land, water, people, and dignity are inseparable. This vision does not belong to tomorrow. It belongs to how we choose to act today.

WHAT GUIDES US
Respect for land and local knowledge.
Dignity for every person who works the soil.
Transparency in all actions.
Community-led, non-commercial work.
Accountability to people, not numbers.
Our role is to support, strengthen, and enable—not to replace communities.
